Jimi Manuwa vs. Jan Blachowicz
On Saturday the 17th March in London’s O2 Arena Jimi Manuwa and Jan Blachowicz will head in to the octagon, and only one will emerge victorious. UFC Fight Night 127 is already attracting lots of attention as punters take a closer look at the 2 MMA fighters who will be going head to head.
Manuwa will enter this fight with a 17-3 record, and has won 88% of his fights by knockout. He’s has split his last 6 fights, and is still coming off a July loss to Volkan Oezdemir which hurt his reputation badly. In his last few bouts he has been a bit hit and miss, and now he is hoping to avoid the first of a back-to-back loss in his career. In contrast, Jan Blachowicz enters the fight with a 21-7 record and he has won 38% of his fights by submission. He is a very different fighter to Manuwa, but their conflicting styles may well make for an excellent match. Blachowicz has back-to-back victories in his favour and he will be going for a career first 3 in a row, so will be extra determined not to give in easily.
