Paulie Malignaggie Breaks Silence
Former sparring partner to Conor McGregor and two time world boxing champion Paulie Malignaggie has decided to reveal all after having been ridiculed by images posted by the Irishman on social media. The photographs show Malignaggie in a compromising position, closely resembling the situation of having been knocked out. Malignaggie now claims that he was in fact “pushed” and not knocked out cold by McGregor, as the photographs seem to suggest.
Malignaggie has also gone on to reveal intimate details about the preparation process followed by McGregor – from practising being judged by actual Boxing rules, to the stare-downs before fights. Malignaggie has given an altogether different account of events that that of McGregor’s other sparring partners.
One cannot help but wonder if all of this isn’t simply a matter of a bruised ego on the part of Paulie Malignaggie. But then again – the truth has always been stranger than fiction.
Sticking It To The Team
Malignaggie hasn’t only chosen to reveal all the embarrasing little quirks practised by the MMA World Champion – but has gone a step further by going after the Irishman’s entire support team to boot. The boxing champion referred to the team as a bunch of ass-kissers, eager to appease the inflated ego of the Irishman. He went on to say that McGregor was a scum bag, and approved most of those able to inflate his ego even further.
Mayweather McGregor Undercard Finally Announced
In more useful news – the undercard for the August 26 fight has been announced after a long wait. Nathan Cleverly will be defending his belt against rival opposition Badou Jack. Cleverly expressed sheer joy at the opportunity to go up against Jack in Vegas – and as undercard for an event the size of which the boxing world seldom sees.
Meanwhile, as of yet undefeated Gervonta Davis will be going up against Francisco Fonseca from Costa Rica.
Is Mayweather Buckling Under Pressure?
Floyd Mayweather has been mocking and taunting Conor McGregor ever since news of the August 26 fight broke to the media. But Mayweather has started singing a different tune lately – one which could easily lead you to think that that the 40 year old athlete might be losing heart ahead of the show-down. Speaking to the press, Mayweather said that McGregor certainly had what it took to beat him “on paper” – referring to McGregor’s sheer physical size advantage as well as the significant age gap between the two fighters.
